This year we gathered at the Lake Worth Casino and Beach Complex for the 7th Annual Margarita Ball. We celebrated by sipping ‘ritas by the sea and had a great time while doing some good for our community. Our sponsors, guests, employees and clients had a fabulous time at THE event of the holiday season, with drinks, dancing, food and fun.
If you’ve ever been to an SLPowers event, you’ve probably met “the jacket”, unfortunately the jacket was across the pond at another event this year and couldn’t make it. We knew it wouldn’t be the same without it, so we had to improvise!
Once again we had a margarita fountain and customizable flavor station where guests could top off their homemade margaritas with pomegranate or mango, raspberries or watermelon, mint or jalapeños, to create the perfect concoction.
Luis from Paella Grill prepared some phenomenal paella. We were thrilled to have the plentiful pans of their sensational fixings.
The SLPowers band the Lemmings preformed for the second time at Margarita Ball. They rocked it out for the first hour of the party and got everyone up and dancing! When they finished their set the guys from Él GRoUnDsCõRo played on while guests enjoyed the open doors and ocean breezes.
We collected almost 250 toys for Community Friends to distribute to local children in need of holiday gifts. We did something a little different this year and asked everyone to bring one toy valued at $20 instead of two $10 toys and it was our most successful year yet!
