WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, April 26, 2017— The Board of Directors of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Gordon Merle, Senior Account Executive at SLPowers, to their Board of Directors. The Board members represent a cross-section of the business and professional leadership in the community.

The Board is responsible for the governance of the chamber, including setting the strategic direction, and developing policies and positions. During their tenure, Board members make decisions that significantly impact the growth and development of the community and its economic vitality.

Mr. Merle also serves on the Government Affairs Committee and Chairs the Sub-Committee on Affordable Housing, the Technology Committee and the Trustee Advisory Board all at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he serves on the School Advisory Council and Technology Committees for McFatter Technical Colleges, in Davie, Florida.
